Which marketplaces does EastMallBuy buy from?

JD.com is the unusual one: few agents mention it, and it's China's big electronics and appliance retailer, closer to an Amazon than a Taobao. A few yuan for the right angle is cheap next to returning an item from abroad. It's also the only protection that matters with an agent, because once the parcel ships there's no return route — unlike AliExpress, where eligible items can go back free within 15 days of delivery.

A cautious first EastMallBuy order

KakoGuide's review is candid about the missing evidence: almost no independent reviews, a service fee that isn't published ('varies by category'), and one documented case where a lost parcel was refunded for the goods but not the roughly $80 paid for shipping. None of that means EastMallBuy is unsafe. It means you should build your own evidence:

1. Start with two or three items from Taobao or 1688.
2. Pay by PayPal or card — both accepted — so you have a dispute route.
3. Screenshot the fee line at checkout; there's no published table to compare against.
4. Buy shipping insurance if offered, and read what it refunds: goods only, or goods and shipping.

Verdict: A small, insured, PayPal-paid first order is the right way to try EastMallBuy.

'EastMallBuy referral code' and 'eastmallbuy reddit' round out its small set of searches. Referral codes usually give new accounts a shipping discount; enter them only on eastmallbuy.com. Reddit mentions are few, which matches KakoGuide's finding that independent reports are scarce. If you order, a detailed review with dates and photos — on Trustpilot or a forum — is genuinely useful to the next buyer.

Why JD.com matters for AliExpress shoppers

JD.com is the reason to remember EastMallBuy. It's China's largest direct retailer, known for electronics, appliances and branded goods sold by JD itself rather than by independent sellers, with its own logistics network inside China. Very few agents list it. For AliExpress shoppers who buy gadgets and accessories, that's a genuinely different source: JD prices on branded Chinese electronics can be lower than the same product on AliExpress, and the seller is often the retailer itself.

Two cautions. Electronics with batteries are restricted on many international lines, so check that a line accepts them before buying; AliExpress excludes batteries from its free-return policy for similar reasons. And warranties on JD products usually apply inside China, so a fault after delivery may have no remedy. For a phone case or a cable, that's a small risk; for a laptop, it's a large one. AliExpress's Buyer Protection doesn't solve warranty either, but it does cover items that arrive faulty.
