WeGoBuy Spreadsheet: An Agent That Vanished Quietly, and the Rows You Can Still Use

WeGoBuy is offline and never said goodbye. KakoGuide traced its last working homepage to December 7, 2024; the site went dark between mid-December 2024 and late January 2025, and wegobuy.com now resolves to a null address. No shutdown notice was ever posted. It launched in 2019 and was widely assumed to be linked to Superbuy, which Superbuy's chief executive denied. WeGoBuy sheets are the oldest still circulating, so many rows point at deleted listings — but the ones that survive convert to original Taobao or Weidian links that any of the 23 working agents can buy.

How did WeGoBuy disappear?

Most agents that close leave a notice, however vague. WeGoBuy left an empty address:

Because nothing was announced, some older guides and search results still describe WeGoBuy as working. It isn't. If you land on a site using the WeGoBuy name and logo, it's not the original business; don't sign in or pay. The same goes for 'WeGoBuy spreadsheet' pages that still invite you to register through a WeGoBuy link: the link can't lead anywhere legitimate, and a sign-up form on a dead brand is a common way to collect passwords.

Verdict: WeGoBuy is gone. Its spreadsheets are only useful for the marketplace links inside them.

Saving the rows in an old WeGoBuy spreadsheet

WeGoBuy links wrapped Taobao, Tmall, 1688 and Weidian items. The item ID inside each is still valid as long as the seller hasn't deleted the listing — and after two or more years, many have.

  1. Convert the column with the link converter to get original listing links.
  2. Open a sample of ten. If most are dead, the sheet is more useful as a list of product names and shops than as links.
  3. Search the shop for surviving items; sellers often relist the same product under a new ID.
  4. Price again. Prices in a 2023–2024 sheet are rarely today's.

Generic rows — plain basics, accessories — are often quicker to find on AliExpress by name or photo, with buyer protection and free returns within 15 days on eligible items. Rows from specific Weidian or Taobao shops need an agent.

The duty rules have changed since your WeGoBuy sheet

A WeGoBuy sheet is also a time capsule of rules that no longer apply. When it was built, US parcels under $800 crossed duty-free and EU parcels under €150 paid no customs duty. Both have changed: the US allowance ended for all countries on August 29, 2025, and the EU began charging €3 per item category on July 1, 2026. A haul that looked cheap on an old sheet may cost noticeably more to land now.

Spotting every dead agent link in an old sheet

A WeGoBuy sheet is rarely the only dead link in a collection. Old spreadsheets mix agents, and several of the biggest names have gone. A quick way to triage any old sheet is to sort the link column by domain:

Everything else in the column — weidian.com, taobao.com, 1688.com — is already an original link and needs no conversion. The link converter handles every format in the table in one pass, so there's no need to sort first if you'd rather not.

WeGoBuy or Wegovy?

One odd detail from the search data: a noticeable share of searches for 'wegobuy' are misspellings of Wegovy, the weight-loss medication — 'how long can wegobuy stay out of the fridge' is searched more than most WeGoBuy questions. If that's what brought you here, this page can't help; the storage instructions in the medication's leaflet, or a pharmacist, can. WeGoBuy was a shopping agent and has nothing to do with it.
