Pandabuy Spreadsheet: Reusing Old Pandabuy Links After the 2024 Shutdown

Straight answer

Pandabuy is closed and has not come back. A data breach on March 31, 2024 exposed 1,348,407 accounts (Have I Been Pwned's count), and in April 2024 Chinese authorities raided its Hangzhou headquarters and warehouses after legal action by 16 brands; Wikipedia dates the shutdown to April 11, 2024. rep.tools, updated September 22, 2026, confirms it hasn't returned. Old Pandabuy spreadsheets are still usable: each link carries the original Weidian or Taobao address inside its url= parameter. Decode it and buy through any of the 23 agents working at our last check, or find a generic equivalent on AliExpress.

Pandabuy was founded in 2019 and grew into the best-known agent in the spreadsheet world, with more than 2,200 staff at its peak according to Wikipedia. Its end came in quick succession:

Many users were left with balances they couldn't spend and parcels stuck in warehouses. That's the lesson Pandabuy left the whole agent market: money parked in an agent's wallet is exposed if the agent stops trading, and nobody can promise it back. AliExpress works differently — it charges you per order, and its buyer protection has a fixed refund window.

Verdict: Pandabuy isn't coming back. Any site now using the name is not the old company; don't log in or pay there.

How do you decode an old Pandabuy link?

A typical Pandabuy link wraps the original listing in a url= parameter, percent-encoded so the slashes and colons look like %3A%2F%2F. Decoded, it reads as a normal Weidian or Taobao address, and that address works at any agent.

The link converter handles all of this at once, including links that were encoded twice: paste a whole column and it returns one original address per line. Keep the old Pandabuy link in a separate column; if the listing has since been deleted, the product name in the old sheet is your only clue for finding it again.

Some Pandabuy sheets used shortened links instead of the full product URL. Those can't be decoded offline because the short code points to a Pandabuy server that no longer answers. For those rows, the product name and photo in the sheet are all you have; searching the name on Weidian through an agent, or using an agent's image search, is the way back to the listing.

Expect a lot of dead rows. A 2023 sheet is old by marketplace standards: sellers relist, change IDs and close shops. The link format can be fixed, the listing's existence can't. Searching the seller's shop for the product name usually finds the replacement.

Where did Pandabuy buyers go, and should you follow?

rep.tools' account of where Pandabuy's users went is the most useful map: most moved to KakoBuy, and many to Oopbuy and JoyaGoo (the renamed JoyaBuy). CNFans took a share too and has since closed itself, and MuleBuy is on a watch list after August reports of delays. Two agents closing in two years is a good reason to keep original links rather than any agent's version of them.

Is that 'new Pandabuy' site real?

A famous closed brand attracts impersonators. Searches such as 'is pandabuy back' and 'does pandabuy still work' keep appearing, and any page promising a Pandabuy relaunch deserves suspicion. The rules are the same as for any agent:

  • Don't log in anywhere with an old Pandabuy password; if you reused it elsewhere, change it there, since the 2024 breach exposed account data.
  • Don't pay a 'recovery fee' to release an old Pandabuy balance. Nobody can legitimately charge you to recover it.
  • Check any agent you're about to use against the status board and its own domain, typed by hand.
