What does each column in the tracker do?

Every column, and why it's there:

Deadlines follow the AliExpress Buyer Protection page (15 days to claim, 15 days for free returns on eligible items). Check your order page: terms can vary by listing and country.

Verdict: Fill in 'Delivered on' the day a parcel arrives. Everything that protects you counts from that date.

The example rows, and reading the dates

The file starts with two example rows so you can see the formulas working; delete them before you start. The first is an AliExpress order: an item at $8.40 with $1.10 in import charges, delivered on September 12, 2026. The sheet totals it to $9.50 and sets both deadlines to September 27, 2026 — fifteen days after delivery. The 'days left' column counts down from today's date each time you open the file.

The second is an agent order, still at the warehouse. Agent orders have no after-delivery claim window like AliExpress's, so the deadline columns stay empty until you fill in a delivery date; use the notes column for the agent's own rules, such as how many days you have to request a return after the item reaches the warehouse.

If you use the CSV and a deadline shows up as a number like 46,292 rather than a date, your spreadsheet has imported it as a plain number: select the column and format it as a date, or use the .xlsx version, which is pre-formatted. That's a display setting, not an error in the formula.

Four habits that make the tracker worth it

How to get the most out of it:

1. Add a row at checkout, not later. Copy the order number and the guaranteed delivery date from the order page while it's open.
2. Screenshot the listing and put the file name in the notes column. Listings get edited and removed; your screenshot doesn't.
3. Sort by 'Days left to claim' once a week. Anything under five days that isn't right yet needs a dispute opened now.
4. Keep the sheet after the deadline passes. Card and PayPal disputes have their own, longer time limits, and your record helps if you need them.

Why track AliExpress orders at all?

Why track at all? Because AliExpress's protections are real but time-limited, and they start from delivery, not from purchase. A parcel that arrives on a busy day and sits unopened for three weeks has already lost its claim window. Several of the most common refund complaints — 'AliExpress won't give refund' is a frequent search — come down to deadlines missed or evidence not kept. A tracker fixes both at almost no effort.

It's also the simplest way to see whether AliExpress or an agent is working out cheaper for you over time: the totals column, filtered by route, tells you what each has actually cost, including shipping and import charges.
